Watson & Cox go “green” !
Watson & Cox are proud to announce the successful completion of a new In-Vessel Composting tunnel and associated facility at Ardley for Agrivert Ltd. Watson & Cox worked closely with Agrivert and their designers, fine-tuning the final design and construction processes of the project. The design is simple yet precision engineered and is made only of corrosion-free materials.
Agrivert’s ethos: Agrivert's long term experience gained in large scale processing and recycling of organic waste has allowed Agrivert to apply its knowledge in a relevant manner to the significant emerging market of municipal waste treatment. By source separating Municipal Waste into Garden Waste, Kitchen Waste and possibly Cardboard, up to 64% of waste could be diverted from landfill. In-Vessel Composting allows this to happen in a practical, sustainable and efficient manner.

Health and Safety Management takes priority
Over 35 years of successful trading has enabled us to establish an enviable and extensive portfolio of experience in projects in many industry sectors, and we have specialized in projects within live education sector environments. Working within live education establishments demands specific attention to detail relating to the planning, phasing and management of construction works. Health and Safety Management is of primary importance. Our success in this field emanates from our work ethic, protocols and procedures developed during many years of experience. We undertake an initial appraisal and investigation to gain a detailed understanding of how the education establishment operates.
Our ‘tidy site’ policy and positive safety culture supported by high profile and robust Safety Management Systems have been key to us maintaining an enviable safety record.
